Lyndhurst Street public park & water reserve is a dog off-leash area.

There is a reasonably sized grassy area on the east side of Lyndhurst Street next to a playground, shelter with seats and four tables without a water tap or bin. The grassy area is surrounded by light bushland.

On the west side of Lyndhurst Street there is a gravel path which passes a wetlands area. There is a doggy bag dispenser at the start of the path. The road leads through some bush, crosses the Old Western Highway and reaches the Old Gordon Cemetery which has toilets, bin, two unshaded tables, table under a shelter and water tap without bowl.
