Janice Road Reserve Dog Off Leash Area

The dog off leash area is a grassy area 330m long and 40m wide under the power transmission lines between Janice Road and eastwards to Ivanhoe Street. The area is bordered by the fences of neighbouring houses on the north and south sides, although one house does not have a back fence and seems to be a magnet for inquisitive dogs.

There are some trees and high bushes along the sides which provide areas for exploration. When we visited the length of the grass had been kept fairly short. There is a fairly steep slope downhill as you move to the east and the return walk can be a bit daunting. There isn't a water tap or bin in the area.
