Near the pavilion is a water tap which someone has placed a bowl under plus a bin. Most of the area is taken up by an oval for sports such as cricket and lacrosse. Around the oval is a fairly narrow hilly area dotted with trees. The north side of the park runs beside busy High Street. There is no signage to indicate dog off leash areas.
The north end is a nice area of artificial surface with tennis wall, basketball court and cricket net. On the west side is a track beside the oval next to Gardiners Creek with steep banks. There is a car park at the end of Estella Street.
