Stead Park home to a synthetic hockey field and a national standard softball diamond. The large and accessible reserve also has plenty of back up softball diamonds, hockey fields and soccer pitches linked with high quality connected pathways.

There is a playground, fenced dog park, toilets, shelter with BBQ and tables, unshaded tables and seats, water tap, skate park, BMX track, bowling green, basketball court and outdoor gym.

Dogs are permitted off leash in the grassy areas as well as in the fenced dog park.

There are huge grassy areas (east of the playground) as well as numerous sports fields (north of Cuthbertson Road). There are bins scattered about and toilets and water tap with bowl near the playground.
