There is a big L-shaped grassy area with some shady trees in a few places. The park is very popular with dog owners.
The reserve is home to the North Coburg Rebels Baseball Club and the field is fenced off. There are also grassy areas for dogs where their aren't any sports playing fields.
On the east side are steep banks down to the Merri Creek.
In the north west corner is a playground.
The parking area is locked between 9pm and 6am, but parking is available in the neighbouring streets. There is a bin near the car park and toilets near the pavilion.
