A smallish rectangular grassy area without trees which is partly fenced along the busy roads, although there are gaps and small dogs can get under the fence railings. On the east side are tennis courts, shelter with table and a bin. Dogs must be on leash within 15m of the picnic area.
In the north east corner is a water tap with bowl. This is an off leash area suited to smaller dogs who are well controlled.
