Blackwood Recreation Reserve Dog Off Leash Area

Blackwood Recreation Reserve is an off-lead dog park after 4.30pm on weeknights and weekends, when the area is not being used for events, sporting matches or training.

A beautiful reserve with steep banks of tall trees on the northern side and some humongous sized trees. There is a path around the oval and toilets on the eastern side. There are bins but no water tap.

There was signage at the entrance when we visited which states that dogs must be on-leash. However this is contradictory to the council website which states it is off-leash at certain times.
