Time Restrictions
Water Tap
Bins
The reserve has restricted hours for off-leash access. The park is lovely with some nice shady trees but the time restrictions severely reduce accessibility. There is a fenced playground and Cubbyhouse Canteen in the south east corner, a fenced playground in the north east and a basketball court in the north. There are some tables, seats and bins scattered about and a water tap in the southern part.
Originally the site of a dairy farm and orchard operating from 1859, Malvern Council acquired the land in stages, with the first parcel used as a depot. Following a petition by ratepayers, Council acquired adjacent land in 1908 to create a public reserve. The children's playground was opened in 1925, along with the first tennis courts. Further tennis courts and a pavilion were added the following year.
Time Restrictions
Dogs must be on-leash between 9am and 5pm. Dogs are allowed off-leash outside these hours.
