The fully-fenced, 288 square metre dog park includes two separate areas, one for small dogs (limited to dogs 14kg and under) and the other for all dogs. Features include agility equipment such as a tug-of-war, logs, expansive open spaces including earth mounds and tunnels, dual-use water fountains for humans and canines, shelter and seating. Puppies under the age of six months are not permitted.

The design capitalises on existing mature trees, with its location in the middle of Jo Gapper Activity Park making it easily accessible by bike or foot and within easy distance from the car park.
