Time Restrictions
General coastal foreshore access for dogs in the Alexandrina council area is:
Dogs on leash 10am - 6pm from 1 December - 30 April. Under effective control 1 May - 30 November.
There are special access conditions at the southern end of Beach Road which provides access to the beach. Dogs on leash at all times from 1 December - 31 January, on leash 10am - 6pm from 1 February to 30 April and under effective control 1 May - 30 November. Please be aware of restrictions in active Hooded Plover breeding areas. Breeding areas are clearly marked.
