In this beach area there is a fenced dog park and also an area which is dog off-leash area at all times where dogs can enjoy a swim. This area replaced Budgee Beach as a dog off-leash area because there was too much disturbance to shorebirds from the dogs. From the fenced area there is an access gate to an unfenced beach entry for your dog to swim. The Bean & Bark Cafe Van and Mobile Dog Wash Van are often parked at the carpark near the water. There are no public toilets in the vicinity.
