The river side of Claude Batten Drive (excluding carparking areas) of Noosa Spit where the Noosa River joins the ocean, is a dog off leash area and includes a lovely big sheltered doggy beach where dogs can safely swim. Go early on weekends because park spots can fill up very quickly and city council cars are patrolling the area all day long. There are toilets at a number of locations in the area.
