Berry Island Reserve Dog Off Leash Area

Berry Island Reserve is a small, almost circular, peninsula in Wollstonecraft is linked to the mainland by a wide grassed causeway. There are superb views of the harbour and the city from this picturesque reserve. The reserve has BBQs, picnic areas, seats, a small beach, playground, toilets and water station. Dogs are welcome off-leash in the reserve but must be kept on a leash in bushland areas and foreshore. They are not permitted within 10 metres of the playground. The Gadyan Track, a 20-minute bushwalk that interprets Berry Island's Aboriginal history is an interesting on-leash walk.
