Perkins Beach is the most southern dog off leash beach in the Wollongong area and stretches for 4.5km from the access path south of the Port Kembla Surf Lifesaving Club southern carpark southwards to level with Wattle Street, Windang. This is the start of Windang Beach where dogs are prohibited. Perkins Beach is a rip-dominated beach so take care in the water and stay close to the shoreline.
