Barlings Beach is a timeshare dog off leash area.
From 1 May to 31 October: Dogs allowed at the designated area at any time.
From 1 November to 30 April:
Dogs allowed on or off-leash before 9am and after 5pm
Dogs prohibited during the day from 9am to 5pm. There is a carpark at the southern end of Red Hill Parade which has access to the 1.2km long beach. Sheltered by Melville Point and Barlings Island the waves rarely get too high.
