The sand spit area south of the Bega River and west of Tathra-Bermagui Road is a dog off leash area. It is on the opposite side of the Tathra-Bermagui Road from Lions Park. Note: This map shows Tathra Beach east of Lions Park as a dog off leash area which is not correct (this is getting rectified). Lions Park has toilets, BBQs, water tap and a playground but no shaded seating.
