The section of Bridgewater Park between the bay and the sporting ground is available for leash-free dog exercise at all times. The sporting ground area is also available for leash-free dog exercise EXCEPT during organised sporting games, training and events, when dogs must be on a leash. Dogs are not permitted within 10 metres of the children's playground. The park has a playground, toilets and picnic facilities.
