The beach area extending for 1.3km from 200m south of the main bathing area at Pottsville Beach (level with 15 Overall Drive, Pottsville) southwards to 200m north of Black Rocks (level with 2 Taylor Drive, Pottsville) is a dog off leash area at all times. There is a carpark off Tweed Coast Road near the southern end of the off leash area with access to the beach.
