Embarkation Park is located on the roof of a naval car park. Enter from Victoria Street or the steep McElhone Stairs at the junction of Brougham Street and Cowper Wharf Road. It is a lovely park to stroll through with great landscaping and popular with local dog owners who form a nice community. Mornings and evenings are a very popular time with dog walkers. The grass can get muddy in the winter months but it is often replaced in time for the warmer months. There are a few bench seats available throughout the park. Dog off-leash allowed from sunrise to sunset daily.
