The 300m long section of Boomerang Beach near the south end is off leash from 5am to 9am and from 5pm to 8pm. The southern end of the off leash section of the beach is opposite Red Gum Road (which has toilet nearby) and the northern end of the off leash section of the beach is at the Boomerang Beach South Carpark at 109 Boomerang Drive.
