Meadowbank Park is a massive sporting and recreation complex with more than 10 playing fields used mainly for soccer and cricket, as well as netball hard courts, tennis courts and a skate park. There are three playgrounds and walking and cycling paths along the Parramatta River as part of the Ryde Riverwalk. There is a sports field area on the western side beside Archer Creek off Andrew Street (Meadowbank Park no. 13) which is a dog off leash area when not used for organised sport. This area has no facilities except for bins but the broader park does have facilities such as toilets.
