Kariong Fenced Dog Park

The huge dog park is located near the Mount Penang Gardens and Parklands. It should be noted that the area is technically fenced but the fencing is only good for big dogs - medium to small dogs can just run right through it since it is only a three or four string wire fence.

A highlight is a lake with watercourse where dogs can swim. In bindi season (around November) there are lots of bindis which are very painful for dogs.

There is little shade, no toilets, playground or picnic area but the Waterfall Cafe (with toilet) is only a four minute walk from the dog park. Plenty of parking.
