The 10ha Ferndale Park is a long and narrow remnant bushland reserve that is surrounded by residential properties, located within the Lane Cove River catchment. Dogs are allowed off-leash only on the grassed area adjacent to Dalrymple Avenue (opposite Campbell Park), and are not permitted off-leash in bushland. There is a water tap with bowl and bin.
