The eastern part of Blackalls Park Reserve is leash free at all times. The parkland is a peninsula of land surrounded on two sides by water with open grassed areas and bushland for dog exercise. The reserve has a playground, shelter with table, some scattered unshaded seats, BBQs, toilets, carpark and bins. Dogs can have a paddle in the water surrounding the park with a fairly shallow section off the point. The park can get very muddy after rain.
