The parkland along The Macquarie-Wambuul River between Hereford and Stanley Streets, River Road and Evans Bridge Bathurst is a dog off leash before 8am and after 4pm AEST and before 8am and after 5pm DST. Macquarie River Bicentennial Park includes a children's playground area, peace garden, remembrance walls, Ohkuma Japanese Garden, toilets, BBQs, outdoor gym equipment, water station, picnic tables, seating and walking paths.
