An amazing space for dogs with approximately 12 hectares of dog off-leash area located at the junction of the Grose and Nepean Rivers, including the large sand island in the northern part of the reserve, adjacent to Navua Reserve. Plenty of opportunities for activities such as swimming and picnicking. The rivers provide shallow water and sandy banks which are ideal for dogs to enjoy the water. Access is off Springwood Road, Yarramundi, with a main entrance and car park on the northern side of Springwood Road and a minor entrance on the southern side, adjacent to the Yarramundi Bridge.
There are no water taps or doggy bag dispensers but there are toilets and shelters with tables near the main car park. The operating hours for the park are 6am to 10pm. Yarramundi Reserve is subject to frequent flooding and should not be visited in times of heavy rainfall within the catchment.
