Diddams Close Park Dog Off Leash Area

The peninsula which juts into Lake Ginninderra contains a lovely park, Diddams Close Park which is mostly an off leash area. It features mature eucalypts and exotic trees around the lake edge and grassland in the centre. This area has a fenced dog park in the southern part and a playground and beach (Nengi Bamir beach) where dogs can swim in the northern part. There are toilets, a playground, BBQs, picnic tables and parking.

Note that dogs are prohibited on the designated (human) swimming beaches (Dulwa Beach to the north and Bimbi beach to the south), the children's playground and must be at least 10 metres away from the cycle path.
